| What started out as a personel passion for outdoor recreation has turned into our family business. In 1993 with no more than a chain saw and some energy, we hacked out a spot of Alaska forest and thus the beginnings of what Alaska Canoe & Campground is today. First the RV park and tent sites were a priority. We worked hard to make nice wooded sites leaving as many tree's as possible so folks were not just parking in a gravel parking lot. What do Campers want? Clean bathrooms, Hot clean showers, Laundry, lots of good information, a nice store and tackle shop. We have always loved recreating on the water in canoes, kayaks, rafts and boats. Our Alaska Canoe & Campground home is close to the entrance of the Kenai Canoe Trail System, and the Kenai River so it did not take long until folks were asking us to help them get into the remote lakes and trails and also on the Kenai river in the hunt for salmon and trout. At first we lent out our canoe and raft but soon we could see a need for an outdoor rental company that could provide everything one would need to get out into the Alaska outdoors. Over the years our fleet has grown to over 36 water craft . We provide all kinds of equipment and updated new equipment each season. Now renting and guiding services for hundreds of outdoor enthusiasts each year. Our fishing guides are the finest in Alaska and our bear viewing trips are fantastic. Please give Annette and I a chance to help make your Alaska experience all you ever dreamed it could be. Max and Annette Finch Family. |
